Apple and Samsung collect the entire profit of smartphone manufacturers

For several fiscal quarters those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), si Samsung collects the entire profit manufacturers of mobile terminals, and Q3 2013 is no exception from any point of view. According to Cannacord, Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), collected 53% of the entire profit of the smartphone market, and those from Samsung collected 50% of the entire profit, the rest of the manufacturers recording losses or only managing to cover expenses. The figure of more than 100% in terms of profit is explained, according to Cannacord, by the fact that the rest of the producers either lose money or have no profit or loss, so everything is shared only between two companies.

If in the previous fiscal quarter Apple collected 57% of the profit and in 2012 69%, now the company has reached only 53%, with Samsung taking the rest of the profit, up from the 34% it recorded in 2012. Although Samsung sells for over 2 times more smartphones than Apple, for now it does not seem to have managed to exceed the profit recorded by the companies from Cupertino, and if the iPhone 5C will appear on the market, then things could change for the better, in favor of Apple. Unfortunately, the rest of the manufacturers do not manage to become profitable, despite the fact that Nokia and LG or Sony have started to sell more.
