Launched in 2007 by Apple, the iPhone proved to be one of the most popular smartphones in the world and started a revolution in this field. Immediately after it, the iPod Touch was launched, and 3 years later the iPad tablet appeared. In these 6 years, Apple sold, on average, more than 100 million iDevices, but in reality most of them were sold in the last 3 years. In contrast, Android has over 1 billion activated terminals, a figure that Apple can reach only in a few years.
