The release of iOS 7 leaves some US university campuses without internet access

During the last night dozens, or maybe even more than 100, of millions of iDevice owners tried to access the servers Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), to download iOS 7 and to install it on their own terminals, and this overloaded both the Internet networks of the providers and the Internet networks of the university campuses. According to those from BusinessInsider, the internet networks of several large US university campuses became unusable due to the large number of students trying to install iOS 7, some administrators recommending them to postpone the software update.

In a university-wide email, students were asked to wait to download iOS 7, Apple's new software upgrade, to potentially prevent further delays. On the odd chance that this is related to the iOS 7 update release, please consider waiting to download your copy until the current issues are resolved.

Last year, a large ISP in Great Britain had very big problems in keeping its services active on the day of the iOS 6 launch, and there is a possibility that we will hear similar information in the following days.
