iPhone 5S – battery autonomy during web browsing and charging time

In a review made for Samsung Galaxy Note 3, those from Anantech they published some interesting images detailing the battery autonomy of the terminals iPhone 5S si iPhone 5C in the case of surfing the Internet using a network LTE 4G or a network Wi-Fi. The first two images of this article show the results, and in the case of navigation using a Wi-Fi network iPhone 5S can get up to 8.5 hours of autonomy, iPhone 5C being just a few minutes ago, iPhone 5 placing at a slightly greater distance. Apple stated that iPhone 5S can reach up to 10 hours of autonomy in the case of surfing through a network LTE 4G, but real-world tests indicate something completely different. In the case of Wi-Fi networks, the iPhone 5S obtains approximately the same autonomy, iPhone 5C ranking much better, while iPhone 5 it occupies the second position with over 10 hours of autonomy.

Turning to the charging time for iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, we find the terminals among the top 5, iPhone 5C fully charging in 2.3 hours, while iPhone 5S needs 2.4 hours for a full charge. Apple has improved the charging times for its terminals, other iPhone terminals are not available in the top of those from Anandtech, so an iPhone 5 would need more than 3.7 hours for a full charge. Having said that, Apple still does not manage to provide 100% accurate information about the autonomy of its terminals, and the differences between the autonomy of the iPhone 5 and those of the iPhone 5S or iPhone 5C are not that great.
