using iPhone 5S for more than a week, I came to the conclusion that either Apple changed the algorithm based on which it calculates the signal strength for the terminal, or the new baseband chip connects to the network differently. Comparing 3G signal strength between terminals iPhone 5S si iPhone 5, I noticed that the new device has 1-2 signal bars less in the house, in some cases the 4G signal is stronger than 3G. I experienced this problem during the whole week of using the terminal, so I am not talking about any network problem and I think that absolutely nothing will change in the next iOS updates.
Knowing that some of you have purchased the new terminal of those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, I'm curious if you noticed any difference between the way the GSM signal strength is displayed between this device and those released in past years, or even between it and the iPad tablets.
