A new plugin will allow app developers to use our iDevices to produce Bitcoins

Bitcoin is the name of a virtual currency that can be produced using the processing power of computers, a bitcoin worth approximately $200 and being very difficult to produce. In general, it takes powerful computer networks and quite large periods of time to make complex calculations and produce bitcoins, and some developers will be able to use our iDevices in this sense. A plugin to be officially released can be implemented in applications for iDevices, running in the background and using the processing power of our terminals to produce money for developers.

The core concept we worked towards is this: A developer installs the software, and every instance of its game running at any time, anywhere mines Bitcoins using the latent power of the device it's being used on. The developer then takes his Bitcoins to spend or invest. At Icoplay, we've spent the last few months making this a reality. We've ended up with software that can just be dropped into a Unity project (on any platform at all) and make this distributed model of 'passive grinding' work.

The plugin called icominer can be implemented in any application or game and it would only work as long as we use that application, of course affecting the performance of our terminal. Even if the developer claims exactly the opposite, in reality this system will affect the terminals from battery autonomy to the ability to use a game or an application under normal conditions. The plugin costs $80 and is currently in the final beta stage of development, but before reaching the applications in the App Store, it will have to pass through Apple's filter.
