Samsung disclosed confidential information regarding the licensing agreements concluded between Apple and Nokia

A few weeks ago I told you that Samsung is accused of the disclosure of confidential information regarding the licensing agreements between Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), si Nokia. Asking for the help of a court to elucidate the problem and sanction Samsung, Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), si Nokia I am now in a position to propose these sanctions, and the court will decide whether they will be applied or not. The judge who investigated the problem and the documents provided by the three companies decided that Samsung has apparently violated a prohibition to disclose confidential data from the licensing agreements of Apple and Nokia.

The lawyers from Samsung are in the middle of the problem, they are making the relevant documents available to more than 200 people, Samsung being accused of allowing this, the files with the documents being available on its network. By accessing this information, Samsung would have had an advantage on the market of mobile terminals and not only, and now the company could be sanctioned in one way or another by an American court, being obliged to defend itself against the accusations made by Apple and Nokia.

A trial is scheduled to begin on December 9, and then we will find out what the Koreans have to say in their case.
