The future SVP of Apple's retail division ranks 4th in the list of the most influential business people in the world

Angela Ahrendts will be employed by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), in the position of SVP of the retail division, and those from CNN/Fortune places it on the fourth position in a list of the most influential business people in the world. About to leave the position of CEO of the luxury retailer Burberry, Ahrendts will be tasked with managing the company's entire store chain Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), and it certainly has the necessary qualities to make it even more profitable. Ahrendts will join the Apple team in the spring of 2014, but in the meantime he manages to keep Burberry on an upward trend, the value of the company's shares increasing by 30% this year.

Ahrendts was already having a banner year as the CEO of British fashion house Burberry. The stock was up 29%, vs. the FTSE 100′s 10%, despite fears of a slowdown in greater China and continued ennui in Europe — when she shocked the luxury and tech worlds with news that she was decamping to Cupertino, Calif., to head up Apple's retail and online stores . Ahrendts takes the reins in 2014, and she will oversee an operation with some $20 billion in annual sales (compared with Burberry's $3.2 billion).

In the top of CNN/Fortune we also find Tim Cook, the company's CEO Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, but it is placed on the 47th position, down 45 positions compared to last year. Its placement so low in the top comes, according to those from Fortune, after a not very successful year for Apple, despite the fact that the Americans once again managed to set world records in terms of smartphone sales in a release weekend and had better receipts than in previous years.
