Basically they took a tablet iPad Air and they changed its dimensions to include a 13-inch screen, otherwise the products look absolutely identical.
Interesting, from all points of view, is also a look at the resolutions that the tablet could have, Apple being forced to implement a high resolution to offer users a Retina screen. We are talking about using a resolution of 3072 x 2304 pixels, 3 times higher than that of the iPad, or a resolution of 4096 x 3072 pixels, double that of the current Retina Displays, both allowing the display of over 290 pixels per inch, including the screen in the Retina category.
Regardless of what Apple decides to do about it iPad Pro, the tablet will mainly be directed towards the business or educational environment, so we are not talking about a product designed specifically for consumers.
Way too big for a tablet, in my opinion. iPad Air has the optimal size!
