CES 2014: Belkin presents Crock-Pot Slow Cooker – a cooking pot controlled using an iPhone

  Belkin, one of the most well-known manufacturers of accessories for mobile terminals, its present la CES 2014 with a wide range of products designed to interconnect with smartphones or tablets. Among them is Belkin Crock-Pot Slow Cooker, a product developed in collaboration with the Crock-Pot company, and basically we are talking about a cooking pot that can be controlled using a iPhone. In essence, the application for iOS allows us to control the cooking temperature, the duration of the cooking period, allows us to close the Crock-Pot when we are away from home, helps us set reminders to change the temperature or cooking time and not only that's all.

The Crock-Pot Smart Slow Cooker is the first smartphone controllable slow cooker, which allows you to adjust the cooker's settings from anywhere giving you greater flexibility and control over life's unexpected moments. Receive reminders, change the cooking time, adjust the temperature or check the status of your dish while you are away through the WeMo app and come home to a perfectly cooked meal whenever you want it, even if you have to work late or practice runs over schedule.

  Belkin Crock-Pot Slow Cooker will be available this spring at the price of $100, but it will not be the only household appliance controlled using a iPhone. Separately from this product, those from Belkin are preparing the launch of a coffee machine and a humidifier, both of which can be fully controlled using applications for mobile terminals, but for now the prices on which they will be sold are not known.
