iPhone 6, iWatch and iPad Pro - details about screens and resolutions

Although this year Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), would prepare the launch of 3 products, two of them completely new, only iPhone 6 will be the one that will attract a lot of attention from users. Because the devices are so attractive, those from DisplaySearch presents some assumptions based on the information collected from the partners Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, and in this article you can see them. I start with iPhone 6, those from DisplaySearch claiming that Apple could launch two terminals with screens of 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches, the first having 386 pixels per inch and a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels, while the second would have 401 pixels per inch and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Both resolutions are problematic because they do not allow iDevice applications to scale smoothly, so it is unlikely that Apple will choose either of them.

As regards iWatch- we are talking about choosing an apparently flexible AMOLED screen that would have a diagonal of 1.3 or 1.6 inches, plus a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels, which would give it 348 or 278 pixels per inch. Apple has always said it will stay away from OLED screens, and using a flexible one doesn't seem like something Apple might choose to do, but it remains to be seen. Regarding iPad Pro, we're talking about the same 12.9-inch screen that we've been hearing about, with DisplaySearch still considering that its resolution could be 2732 x 2048 pixels, with 265 pixels per inch. This is the first time we hear about this resolution and if the applications cannot be scaled to it, it is unlikely that Apple will adopt it.

In the end, we have some interesting assumptions, but at first glance they don't really seem to line up with everything Apple has done over the years.
