Samsung Galaxy S5 is being prepared for launch by the Korean company Samsung, and among the important new functions that the terminal will include is a fingerprint reader, just like the one available in iPhone 5S. Who would want to put their handset up close to their eyes for authentication in places like movie theaters and bed, or even while they are driving? It is said that Samsung is working on putting fingerprint sensors under the display panel so that users can scan their fingerprints on the display.
Unlike the fingerprint reader available in iPhone 5S, Samsung Galaxy S5 could have the sensor implemented directly in the screen, so users will be able to unlock their terminals by pressing on the front of the device. Those from Samsung are also testing various other biometric sensors that should provide a unique and superior user experience for iPhones, but it remains to be seen whether this will be achieved or not.
