Here's how much the processing power of Macs has increased in 30 years

If you have ever been interested in finding out how much the processing power has evolved Macthroughout the 30 years of product availability Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, well those from Mashable presents us a graph from which we can find this out. They are limited to presenting the frequencies at which Mac processors are clocked and you notice that in 30 years of availability, the frequency of the processors implemented in Macs has increased more than 400 times.

The biggest technological leap took place during the 2000s, speeds practically doubling every 3 years, at least until 3 when they increased at a much slower rate. Of course, this graph does not include the Mac Pros, which are based on other configurations, but even so, we can see how much PCs have evolved over the years.
