Cylinder – a clone of Barrel that implements 3D effects in Springboard and which you can test for free now

Cylinder is the name of a tweak currently available in a repo for Cydia, allowing us to implement various 3D effects for the Springboard of our iDevices, imitating the functionality Barrel. The developer of the tweak wanted more functionality from the famous tweak Barrel, but without getting it, he decided to develop his own tweak that outside the functionality of the first one tweak it offers some new effects and, theoretically, it is developed much more efficiently.

The main one is, if you know a little bit of math, you can make your own effects. For example, the the cube effect is less than 20 lines of code. It's in Lua, which is a really easy language. Anyway all you have to do is drop your .lua scripts in /Library/Cylinder/ using scp/WinSCP/iFile/iFunBox/whatever. Then just open Settings, click the name, and boom. It's loaded. You don't have to respring, either.

What's more, the tweak is developed using the Lua programming language, so anyone can create their own effects for iOS 7 and can use them without much effort. Cylinder it currently has a limited number of effects, many more will be implemented in the near future, but in the meantime you can test it for free by downloading it from the repo: http://r333d.com/repo .
