In Q4 2013, the number of iDevices/Macs sold by Apple was higher than the number of PCs sold globally

In Q4 2013 the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), recorded a new sales record for its products and although it did not manage to regain its title as the "queen" of the smartphone market, it still managed to pass Microsoft. According to some recently provided data, company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), managed to sell more Macs/iDevices than the total number of PCs/smartphones in Q4 2013 Windows Phone marketed globally by partners Microsoft. You can already see in the image above that we are talking about a very small difference, but this is the first time that Apple succeeds in surpassing Microsoft in this segment.

The interesting part is that in addition to surpassing the PC industry in terms of sales volume, the products Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), they have kept their selling price high, so that the average selling price of a product of the American company is $584, while in the case of PCs we are talking about an average selling price of $544. This situation is unique, but considering the decline in PC sales in recent years, it is very likely that we will encounter it again soon.
