Microsoft rushes the launch of the Office suite for iOS

After countless rumors and years of waiting, last year those from Microsoft they revealed in a press conference, held in a European country, that Microsoft Office for iOS will be launched in the spring of this year App Store. Codenamed Miramar, the iPad version of the suite Microsoft Office would have entered in the final stage of the development process, those from Microsoft planning to launch it in the very near future in App Store, just before a version dedicated to the touch screens of the running devices Windows 8.

Basically, Microsoft is trying to "attack" the iOS platform as long as the suite seems to be popular among potential future users, but since Apple offers the suite for free iWork, the chances of Microsoft Office being a resounding success are small. The App Store anyway has tens of thousands of productivity applications that fulfill, to the greatest extent, the functionality of the Office suite, so by coming so late with an interesting product, Microsoft could quickly realize that the suite is no longer that much popular.
