Over time, we have seen various images in which the batteries of some iPhones were presented as being swollen after they caught fire and completely destroyed the devices, and today we see a iPhone 5S in the same situation. This is the first iPhone 5S which was publicly known to have similar problems with the battery, and its owner succeeded to register it while the battery is still emitting a toxic smoke. The device would not have been charged, so at first sight it seems to be a matter of spontaneous combustion, cases of this kind having been encountered in the past.
