iOS 7.0.6 was launched last night by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), and I already told you that you can do them untethered jailbreak using evasi0n7, and in the same article I explained how. Although those from Evad3rs they haven't updated evasi0n7 to make it 100% compatible with iOS 7.0.6, a simple change to the program adds compatibility and jailbreak is just as easy. Fortunately Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has not modified the operating system to block the exploits used by evasi0n7, so you can install it iOS 7.0.6 without problems and you can jailbreak it easily.
To jailbreak you just have to follow the steps below.
- Download modified version of evasi0n7 compatible with iOS 7.0.6 from: Windows, Mac OS X.
- Open evasi0n7 and connect your iDevice to the computer, disabling its security code.
- Press the button jailbreak and follow the instructions of the program, or those of this jailbreak tutorial.
- If the program refuses to run the process to the end and gets stuck in the rootfs modification procedure, then it would be good to try the jailbreak on a more powerful computer.
By following all these steps you will jailbreak on iOS 7.0.6 smoothly.
