WhatsApp Messenger will be able to make voice calls later this year

  Just two days after the serious operational problems experienced by the network WhatsApp Messenger, company representatives declared during a conference held at Mobile World Congress 2014 as applications for iOS si Android they will be able to perform voice calls during this year. The new function is to be implemented in the second fiscal quarter of 2014 in both versions of the application, but for now there is no clear date for its launch.

  Apart from this news, those from WhatsApp they announced that the application WhatsApp Messenger is used monthly by 465 million people from all over the world, 330 million users connecting daily to its services. Despite its popularity based on the fact that it is offered for free, WhatsApp Messenger could offer the new function of free voice calls only for a limited period of time, the company representatives taking into account its charging after a short period of free testing.

  Until then, WhatsApp Messenger is available for free in the App Store, users having to pay an annual subscription of €0.99 after the first year of use.
