F-Secure claims that Android is the target of 97% of malware attacks for mobile terminals

  F-Secure is one of the most well-known IT security companies in the world and within a new report published today, she claims that Androidwas the target of 97% of malware attacks directed against mobile terminal platforms in 2013. As you can see from the diagram above, Androidremained the leader in 2013, having 18% more attacks than in the same period last year, hackers turning their attention more strongly to the operating system of those from Google.

  Things get even more interesting if we look at the countries where the biggest attacks against the platform were reported Android, Saudi Arabia and India occupying the first two positions. The USA, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Sweden, Egypt and the Netherlands are the next countries mentioned in the list, all of which account for 80% of the total number of attacks. The remaining 20% ​​of the attacks were reported in the rest of the countries around the world, and the interesting thing is the absence of China from the list, being one of the main sources of Android terminals.
