BetterVolume is a tweak launched last night in Cydia, and through it we can improve the method of controlling the multimedia functions of our idevices. The tweak fulfills this functionality by implementing some options that allow us to close the Volume HUD with a simple tap, options that allow changing the thresholds for changing the volume, options for quickly starting/stopping the playback of songs and many, many more, tweak- including a settings menu available in the Settings application.
