Apple is developing a new SmartCover with a multitouch keyboard

Thanks to a patent recently granted to the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), we find out that in Cupertino engineers are working on the development of a new type of SmartCover for tablets iPad, the cover having an integrated multitouch keyboard. The case is a combination between Smart Case si SmartCover, the keyboard can be used to enter any type of text in the applications available in the Cupertino product, but it will probably also allow controlling the operating system.

For this new product, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), he imagines that fixing the tablet could be done using clips, buttons or even velcro, but magnets will probably be chosen in the end. The cover's keyboard will connect to the tablet via Bluetooth or by connecting directly to the Lightning port, everything being in the testing stage for now. To be honest, an iPad keyboard would be extremely useful if Apple would also allow the use of a mouse, things being quite difficult to accomplish on a touch screen without controlling everything with an external accessory.
