Alpine will launch an aftermarket CarPlay console this year

Although the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), launched the system C along with certain car manufacturers, others going to implement it in the future, it seems that other companies are preparing to release aftermarket consoles for those interested. The famous company Alpine prepare a console C for all those interested in implementing the system in their own car, it will be launched in the fall of this year at a price of at least $500. Pioneer was the first company to announce the launch of a console of this kind, but it won't be available before the fall of this year either, the price being similar.

Considering that we are talking about aftermarket solutions, users will have to purchase their own console and replace the car's entertainment system with the one based on the interface C. Considering the high purchase price of such a console and the associated installation costs, it is unlikely that these consoles will be extremely popular, so it remains to be seen how many people will be interested in them.
