F-Secure claims that in 2014 99% of the malware developed for mobile terminals is aimed at Android

For years it has been said that Androidis the favorite target of malware developers, and a new report by those from F-Secure does nothing but to confirm the fact that the platform of those from Google is the most attacked. According to the Finnish company, in Q1 2014 277 malware attacks were detected, 275 of them being directed towards the platform Android, one of the remaining ones attacking the platform iOS of those from Apple and the last being directed against Symbian.

In the same period last year, 91% of all malware attacks attacked Google's Android platform, so we are talking about an increase this year, but probably no one expected something different. Returning to iOS, the only malware attack detected by F-Secure was directed against users of jailbroken iDevices and we are probably talking about the Unflod malware in connection with which I warned you last week.

In conclusion, Android is dangerous and must be treated with great care, especially by the uninitiated.
