Google Maps for iOS brings you the option to save offline maps and much more in a new update

Google Maps, the application developed by Google for using the service with the same name, will be updated during this evening, a series of interesting novelties will be implemented. More exactly, Google will finally officially implement the option to save offline maps in order to use them for navigation when they are not connected to a data network. The application had this function present in it, but a trick was needed to activate it, but thanks to the new version everything will be available in a settings menu.

Separated, Google Maps it will offer guidance options for the lane you need to follow to be guided to your destination, but this feature will most likely be useful in countries where Google has detailed maps. Continuing, the application will allow you to search for points of interest based on predefined filters, and finally the application will contain integration with Uber, a taxi service that is available in the USA. The new version of the application is to be launched during this evening in App Store.
