Facebook, the company that owns the largest social network in the world, launched today a new system capable of recognizing the songs or TV shows listened to/watched by you. The new functionality will be integrated into the application Facebook natively available for iDevices, and everything will work in a similar way to that offered by the Shazam application for mobile terminals.

More precisely, using the new function you will be able to use the application Facebook to recognize music or TV shows that are displayed on a TV or a computer, the audio part being analyzed by the application. After the analysis, the application will automatically display a status with the name of the song or show TV, you can quickly share that status to any person who views your Facebook profile.

Although we are talking about an extremely interesting system, developed by Facebook within the company, only the song recognition part will work in Romania. The update will be available starting this evening through the App Store, the new function will be accessible when you open the interface for writing a status inside the Facebook application for iOS.
