MapStep is a new tweak released during this evening in Cydia, and with its help we can implement an extremely interesting functionality for the application Maps a iOS 7. As you already know very well, the application Maps stops the playback of the multimedia content when it offers directions for navigation, restarting the playback of that content is no longer done.
MapStep pauses your Now Playing Media (Music, Podcasts, whatever) when the Navigation Voice in the Maps app tells you a direction. The Now Playing Media continues after the Voice has finished talking so you don't miss any of the Song / Podcasts. Future Versions might include Google's App depending on the requests.
MapStep is available now with the idea of solving this problem, so the tweak will automatically stop the multimedia content and restart it when the directions stop. The process continues every time the directions for the locations are provided again by the Maps application, so the use of the application is simplified.
