One of the functions that I use very often in iOS 8 it has to do with the application Messages, more precisely the one that allows responding to messages directly from notification banners or LockScreen. If you wanted this function and in iOS 7, well the tweak Interactive Message Notifications implements it for us in the simplest possible way, visible in the image above.
Of course as other tweaks of Cydia implement similar functionality, but this is carried over directly from a higher version of iOS and is most likely offered in the way Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), thought it, without affecting other functions.
