iOS 8 brings a useful function to the Phone application

Starting with iOS 8 the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), implemented a very useful function for Phone application of our iDevices, so that when calling a phone number through the application Maps, in the call list we will have all the details present in the application Maps. As you can already see from the image above, the calls initiated through the application Maps are saved in the Phone application with details about the name of the point of interest, address, etc.

Practically, although we don't have the name of a restaurant, for example, saved in the contacts book, if we call it through the Maps application, in the call list it will be displayed even with its full name instead of a phone number, with its location below it . The function is currently implemented only for the Maps application, but there is a possibility that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), to extend it in the future to other applications that provide information about businesses.
