Apple and HP have discussed a collaboration to expand the functionality of Siri

Now more than a month the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), officially announced the initiation of a partnership with IBM to conquer the US business segment, but before the conclusion of this agreement Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), to talk including with HP. Discussions with those from HP they had the personal assistant in the center Crab, HP coming up with an interesting idea based on which a company's employees could use Siri to search for information in the company's databases in the same way they search for information on the Internet.

The idea is for employees to be able to ask their Android device for company information such as financial data or product inventory information in the same way they do routine personal searches for weather, traffic or restaurant locations. Google search doesn't currently offer any such integration with corporate databases and software applications, but it's an area Google has looked at as it tries to chip away at the iPhone's lead among business customers.

HP held discussions including with Google for the implementation of such functionality in Google Now, but neither Apple nor Google were convinced by the ideas of those from HP. Considering that Apple has already concluded a partnership with IBM, there are still chances that HP will conclude a partnership with Google to offer this functionality to companies, but everything will require that these companies provide access to Google's system to their own information.
