Noke – the lock that can be controlled by an iPhone (Video)

I have seen over time locks that can be controlled using a iPhoneTechnology Bluetooth and dedicated applications, and now we also see the first locks built in the same way. Opening the lock is done by simply pressing it, at that moment it scans the connections Bluetooth nearby, then automatically connecting to the application in our iDevices to receive the acceptance code for unlocking.

Although the unlocking done through this system seems unsafe, you always have the possibility to set a security code that must be entered before the lock actually unlocks. Noke is probably the first lock of this kind, and at the moment he is waiting for funding through Kickstarter, already raising the amount necessary for production, but it will be several months before the first units are available.
