iPhone 6 – NFC and a mobile payment system prepared by Apple

The past days I presented you with the image above, telling you that inside that red square there is one chip NFC which Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), prepared for iPhone 6. If this information was not enough for you, well, an American publication confirm implementation NFC in iPhone 6, but also the launch of a new system of mobile payments which will accompany this new face of the terminal and will be one of its key selling points.

The company's next iPhone will feature its own payment platform, sources familiar with the matter told WIRED. In fact, that platform will be one of the hallmark features of the device when it's unveiled on September 9. We're told the solution will involve NFC.

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), discussed repeatedly this year with various partners to launch a mobile payment system, and Tim Cook stated a few months ago that mobile payments are one of the main reasons for the launch touch ID. For iOS 8 Apple expands the functionality touch ID to allow the authorization of mobile payments using fingerprints, even without NFC, so the inclusion NFC in iPhone 6 extend this functionality.

As you already know very well, iPhone 6, iPhone 6L and iWatch will be presented on September 9.

  1. @Unu: and why wasn't she mature 3 years ago? but why was she immature last year? come on baby... what is hoped is to bring the "just works" mode specific to Apple! well, touch id is also mature this year and look what a mess of buttons they implemented from Samsung... they had a little left and made you hit the screen with your tongue just to make them look better =)). I really appreciate the evolution of LG! I'm even thinking of switching to a G3.
