BlurryContrast is a tweak available since last night in Cydia for our iDevices, and with its help we can implement a series of new options for controlling the graphic elements of Springboard-uluo. More precisely, using BlurryContrast we can change the contrast and readability options as we like, we can apply new blur effects or we can remove others, all these changes of course affecting the performance of the terminal.
In iOS 7.0, SpringBoard lacks the contrast and readability control for folder icons and app icons' "X" close box. They contain a blurry effect, which may increase GPU usage and drain the battery. So, iOS 7.1 was released to fix that issue, by overlaying the blurry UI with gray pattern. There are 2 tweaks related to this story, Contrast70 and NoGrayContrast. Contrast70 makes iOS 7.0 blurring like iOS 7.1 and NoGrayContrast makes iOS 7.1 blurring like iOS 7.0.
