Over 400.000 4G smartphones are active in the Orange Romania network, and those who will travel with the metro starting today will be able to enjoy 4G speed up to 150 Mbps, if they have smartphones or compatible options for them.
Orange Romania was the first operator to activate a 3G network in the Bucharest metro, and now it is the first operator to offer 4G internet in the Bucharest metro, but it will probably be quickly followed by Vodafone and the new TELEKOM Romania. Orange Romania remains the leader on the local telecom market with over 10 million active customers in the network and covers 78% of the urban population with high-speed 4G networks.
