Last week I told you in an article that a new hoax recently published on the Internet is trying to convince some users that iOS 8 contains a function that makes iPhone, iPad and iPod Touches waterproof. Even if this is 100% false, someone thought to find out how much a terminal lasts iPhone 6 which is inserted into a container full of water, and in the video clip above you can see the entire action to which the terminal was subjected Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),.

As you probably already expected, iPhone 6 it stops working a few tens of seconds after it is inserted into the container full of water, its screen turning black as the water enters the case.

  1. Sorry it's off topic. I have a question, I have an iPad mini and an iPhone 5s, ios 8 gm, same wifi, same appleid. Why doesn't continuity work, and why doesn't my iPad ring when my iPhone rings

  2. @alex I have the same, but you have to wait a bit for the iPad to ring. First the phone rings and if it rings a few times and you don't answer, then the ipad also rings

  3. However, it went for 50 seconds in the water, it's good! If you drop it in a puddle, don't leave it for even 5 seconds, but take it out quickly! The weather is satisfactory, no one said it is waterproof!

  4. I will never understand these idiots and their illogical and inconclusive tests... Some people don't have money to buy such a phone and they throw them into the water or shoot them with a rifle to

  5. @Dante: You speak the truth!! Some idiots... I can't call them tests... It's like you want to see what happens if you take a breath under water... without a tube

  6. hmm…. if the air bubbles came out at the lightning port and at the jack... does that mean that the water only entered there?
Does this mean we could only take pictures with the top of the iPhone under water? 🙂
