Yahoo! Messenger was one of the most popular messaging networks on the globe with hundreds of millions of users worldwide, but in recent years it has lost its fans due to the emergence of so many communication alternatives. In this idea, those from Yahoo! is trying to revitalize the mobile communication division and they have acquired MessageMe, a messaging application with medium popularity worldwide.
MessageMe managed to gather over 5 million monthly active users just 3 months after the official launch, those from Yahoo! paying several tens of millions of dollars to acquire the company that developed it. Although it is not known for sure what will be used the team that developed it MessageMe, it seems that she could be part of a project aimed at bringing to market an application called Yahoo! Instantly, allowing users from all over the world to communicate in a completely different way.
