Skype Qik is a new application launched today by the company Microsoft for terminal owners iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, allowing the recording of temporary video calls that can be sent to anyone. The application allows the sharing of video clips to groups of contacts whenever we want, and separately we can also share text messages or pictures, all multimedia content being temporarily stored in the company's servers.
Introducing Skype Qik (say "quick"), a free* video messenger made for capturing moments and sharing laughs throughout your day. Set up a group and immediately start shooting and swapping videos. Send something to crack your friends up, or show off a new dance move—whatever you want. New messages are added to a chat that you can watch like a movie with a single tap. Qik even lets you erase your video right out of the chat.**
Because all multimedia content is not actually downloaded by users after sending, the deletion of a picture or a video clip can be done directly from the chat interface, as they are automatically deleted two weeks after publication. The even more interesting part is that we can pre-record short video clips to send to our friends at a predetermined date, the whole functionality being extremely interesting.
