iOS 8 Personal HotSpot - here's how to reactivate it

after installing iOS 8 or iOS 8.0.2 in iPhone or iPad some users have discovered that the system Personal HotSpot disappeared from the menu Cellular, Cellular connection, and is no longer present, or is inactive, in the main menu of the application Settings, Configurations. Although a simple reset of the network settings should have solved the problem, in some cases an additional change made in the application is needed Configurations, Settings, to reactivate Personal HotSpot for terminals.

iOS 8 Personal HotSpot / Personal HotSpot reactivation

If you do not have the menu active Personal HotSpot in iOS 8 after a cellular data reset, you can quickly reactivate it by accessing the menu Cellular Data, Cellular Connection, and introduction to the field Personal HotSpot of the same word as the one written in Cellular Connection. You can see in the image above that in the case of Orange it is necessary to enter the word net next to the field APN of the Cellular Connection settings, if applicable Telekom or Vodafone being similar words.

Making this simple change will restore the possibility to use the Personal HotSpot function in iOS 8 to share an Internet connection from an iDevice, and if you fail to restore it to function, then a restore is probably the only method to solve the problem.
