Jailbreak iOS 8.1 – Cydia Substrate update solves problems with installing applications, syncing with iTunes and not only that

Jailbreak iOS 8.1 today brings us a new update for Cydia Substrate, the most used platform for the tweaks available in the Cydia application, the update having the role of solving a multitude of problems. Cydia Substrate 0.9.5014 was released during the day to solve problems with installing applications, syncing with iTunes or disappearing applications, version 0.9.5015 being released shortly after to solve a bug that prevents OpenSSH from opening.

Cydia Substrate 0.9.5014 fixes a few bugs reported on iOS 8 with 0.9.5013, including "apps do not install", "iTunes does not sync", and "icons are gone". This issue sometimes led to devices being unable to boot without disabling Substrate (holding down volume up).

Jailbreak iOS 8.1 allows the installation of this update in our terminals directly through Cydia, the latter applying the solutions available in the former, so you can do it without the slightest problem. Despite these solutions, Pangu jailbreak is still problematic even though the hackers updated it last night, so for now it is better to avoid using it, at least until all the problems are solved.
