iOS 8.1 helps increase the adoption rate of iOS 8

iOS 8.1 was released last Monday by the Apple company, and its appearance has motivated several iDevice owners to switch to one of the iOS 8 versions available for installation. If before the release of the new version of the operating system iOS 8 adoption rate it was just 48%, but today Apple updated its figures, and 52% of all iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches are running one of four versions of iOS 8 launched so far, 43% of terminals still using iOS 7.

iOS 8.1 solves a multitude of problems generated by the release of iOS 8 in September, so the much greater interest in this version of the operating system is only natural. Unfortunately for the American company, the adoption rate of iOS 8 is lower than that recorded during the last year for iOS 7, so Apple still has a lot of work to do to convince users that its new operating system is worth installing.
