The iPhone 6 Plus has a major problem with the proximity sensor during phone calls

I use one 6 iPhone Plus for more than a month and during all this time I noticed a disturbing problem related to the proximity sensor and reminds me of a similar one of the iPhone 4 terminal. In the more than 30 days of using the company's new terminal Apple noticed that for multiple phone calls the proximity sensor implemented by the Apple company did not automatically lock the screen as it should normally do.

Because of this, I ended up in several situations switching the main speaker during the call, even when I was talking on the phone outside and had my head covered, the problem being quite annoying. From iOS 8 and up to iOS 8.1 updates haven't brought any change to the way this sensor implemented by Cupertino works, and now I don't hold out much hope that a iOS 8.1.1 or maybe iOS 8.2 will bring some major change from Apple.

Fortunately the terminal iPhone 6 is not affected by this problem, so now I'm asking if you guys have encountered a similar one.
