Samsung launches $1000 smartphone to stun the world

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge was presented as a great innovation by the Samsung company, being a terminal whose screen is curved towards its outer right edge to allow viewing of notifications and control of certain functions. Its exterior can display information separately from the rest of the screen, but Samsung has decided to produce only a limited number of units, seeing the whole project as a market test and nothing more.

To make matters even more complicated, the Korean company is intending to is marketing its new smartphone at $1000 in the US and probably €1000 in Europe, a prohibitive price for most tech enthusiasts. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is basically a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with an outwardly curved screen, but the $250 higher price tag from the carrier is likely to convince very few users to buy it, and we're talking about a failed Samsung experiment.
