Apple Pays Tiny Fees for European iTunes Revenue (Video)

As you already know very well, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has an agreement with the authorities in Ireland to pay a tiny percentage of the proceeds as tax on sales in Europe, and a similar agreement exists in Luxembourg. There Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), concluded the agreement for digital software sales and not physical product sales, and the latter is much more profitable. According to recently published information, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), paid only €20 million in taxes on €2.05 billion in revenue in Europe, so we're talking about a percentage of just 1% of revenue paid as taxes.

In order to manage to pay such small amounts, Apple uses its subsidiary iTunes Sàrl and contracts with various third-party companies to report very small receipts in Europe, although in reality they are colossal. Apple paid 26.6 million dollars in 2011 for revenues of 90 million euros, and in 2013 the amount dropped to 20 million euros, although the revenues were 2.05 billion dollars. The reality is that Apple has been able to find legal loopholes that allow it to pay miniscule amounts like taxes, and that's not going to change anytime soon.
