Alicatia was launched two years ago in the App Store and of course it was not updated to be compatible with iOS 8, given that it has a high enough selling price to motivate continuous development.

Considering the high price for such a title, you would expect it to have perfect functionality and save your life if the situation calls for it, but considering that it was designed for iOS 6, this is debatable. It's hard to say under what conditions it will still work correctly in iOS 8, although theoretically the alert system implemented in it should send notifications without problems for users even if updates are not available for it.
The Vrancea Earthquake Alert was developed together with experts from the Romanian Institute of Seismology and if it had been updated for iOS 8, I would have recommended you to buy it without the slightest hesitation, but given that there is no update for it for 2 years, maybe it would be better to avoid it.
