Apple is organizing its largest fundraising campaign for the RED organization, dedicated to supporting the fight against AIDS in various locations around the world.

Last week, Apple initiated a campaign to support the RED organization, involving the donation of proceeds for an extremely diverse range of App Store applications. Apart from this, the Apple company decided to donate part of the proceeds generated by product sales through its online and physical stores, all culminating today, when World AIDS Day is celebrated worldwide.

Apple has donated 75 million dollars to the RED organization over the years with a series of similar campaigns and the amount increases considerably during this year following a campaign that lasted a week. To officially celebrate everything, Apple has also changed the appearance of the logos mounted on the facades of its stores around the world, these having the color red for the next 24 hours, all to remind the whole world how important World AIDS Day is.

Apple is a proud supporter of (RED) because we believe the gift of life is the most important gift anyone can give," company CEO Tim Cook said in a statement. "For eight years, our customers have been helping fight AIDS in Africa by funding life-saving treatments, which are having a profoundly positive impact.

I told you yesterday that if you want to support this cause, you can donate money directly from the App Store, if you don't have any Apple applications or products to purchase, so you can also contribute to supporting an important cause.
