Prettier Banners is a new one tweak released during this evening in Cydia for our iDevices, allowing the implementation of a new function for the notification banners displayed for applications.
As you can already see from the image above, Prettier Banners implements for us the possibility to display in the notification banners of the Notifications Center the profile picture of any contact who sends us a message. The tweak was only designed to work with notifications sent by the Messages app, so you won't see profit images for notifications received through any other app in our terminals.
When receiving a text message banner notification, the contact's profile picture will be shown instead of the Messages app icon. And if it is a group message notification, all the participants' names will be shown.
Moreover, Prettier Banners will also display the names of all our contacts when we receive a notification from a discussion group, so we will always know who is participating in the conversations. Prettier Banners is available for FREE DOWNLOAD in Cydia's BigBoss repo.
