Apple Pay is promoted by Gwen Stefan and MasterCard

Apple Pay is the first and only mobile payment service launched by the Apple company worldwide, and those from MasterCard, as official partners, have obliged to promote the service, so they contracted her on Gwen Stefani to help them. During this day, the famous bank card manufacturer launched an advertising campaign called Priceless Surprise, through which Gwen Stefani was presented using the new Apple Pay on iPhone 6.

To kick things off, MasterCard will debut a new 30 second TV spot today featuring Stefani who, with the help of a “Surprise launcher,” sends Priceless Surprises to cardholders paying with their MasterCard with Apple Pay. The spot features Stefani's new song, Spark The Fire.

Surprises include everything from handbags and golf experiences to concert tickets, and even a chance to hang out with Gwen Stefani herself. The spot, directed by Sophie Muller of Wondros, exemplifies what the MasterCard platform is about: surprising cardholders with unbelievable prizes while also inspiring them to give, and share their own Priceless Surprises whether they're paying with traditional credit, debit or prepaid cards or using innovative new payment options like Apple Pay.

The campaign also had a 30-second advertising spot that was published and then withdrawn by MasterCard, but it had the role of showing Americans how useful and easy to use the mobile payment system is. Spark the Fire is the song sung by Gwen Stefani during the 30 seconds in which Apple Pay is presented, this being the first big American star to be used to promote Apple's new mobile payment system.

At the moment, Apple Pay is officially compatible only with American banks and payment processors there, but with an American bank card loaded with Apple Pay and a iPhone 6, you can make payments even in Romania at any POS that accepts NFC payments.
