CES 2015: Misfit launches Bolt smart bulbs whose colors you control with a smartphone

Misfit is present at CES 2015 with a new series of smart bulbs Bolt whose colors can be controlled using a smartphone application. In the short video clip above you can see how it works, and simply dragging your hand over a slider immediately changes the color of the light that floods the room where we would install the company's bulbs.

Those from Misfit they are not the first on the market with such products, but they have started to become more and more interesting for the general public. In this idea, Misfit comes with a 60W light bulb whose colors change to order and the best part is that the price of such a product is only $50, compared to the minimum $100 that other competitors cost.

As you can probably already imagine, the bulb has a Wi-Fi chip implemented through which it communicates with the application installed in our smartphones. From that application we can control the intensity and color of the light, we can apply pulsations for the light and some other actions that those at Misfit thought of offering to customers willing to play with such a product.

bulbs Misfit Bolt can be purchased directly from manufacturer's website right now.
