CES 2015: webOS arrives in an Audi smartwatch (Video)

  webOS was one of the most popular operating systems for mobile terminals, and at CES 2015 a version of it is used in a smartwatch developed by LG for those from Audi. This smartwatch was designed to allow controlling the new Audio cars, more precisely to start them, to park them, or to control various other functions.

  Although those from LG they used webOS in the interface of their own televisions, now they have found another utility for the operating system bought from those from HP. Separate from controlling the car, the new smartwatch LG is capable to connect to the Internet using a data network, but also a Wi-Fi network, users being able to surf the Internet or use various applications.

  LG has implemented a series of applications in its new smartwatch that allow calling various people, sending SMS messages to friends and much more. Apart from these, the company also implemented an application designed to monitor the health of users, so we are talking about a product that will not be dedicated only to drivers of Audi cars.

  Although the product itself is interesting, for now it is not known when LG will decide to officially launch it on the market, even though those who tested it praised it from all points of view. A lot of people have been waiting for a long time to find out what LG is going to do next with webOS apart from implementing it in televisions, and now we find out their new orientation.
