Apple's monetary reserve

Last night the company Apple announced its financial results for Q1 2015, according to its fiscal organization, and amazed the whole world with the receipts, profit and sales recorded for the products in its own offer. Also last night the CFO of the company, Luca Maestri, announced that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), it has a monetary reserve of 178 billion dollars, it being composed of liquidities and long-term or short-term investments. Figure is with just 10 billion dollars less than GDP the Romanians for the year 2013, but 3 times higher than the GDP of Bulgaria, Slovenia or Serbia, countries neighboring or close to Romania.

Practically Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), it has a monetary reserve that equals the GDP of Kuwait or Ukraine, and yet we are talking here about an American company that does not run a country, but only sells its products all over the world. The figure is 22 billion dollars higher than the one recorded during the previous fiscal quarter, the remaining 52 billion dollars to the total receipts representing the company's expenses. The monetary reserve would have been much higher if Apple had not offered dividends and not bought back a large part of its shares sold on the American stock exchange, but even so, it managed to create a monetary reserve that allows it to function without problems for years and years in the situation where his products will no longer have strong sales.
